Are you looking to arrange a ‘Do It Yourself’ Wedding?
The owner of The Loch View Steading will help out when
possible but in general all arrangements must be
undertaken by yourself.
The good Housekeeping Deposit of £ 750 will be banked
and the cost of any damage caused will be deducted
before the balance is refunded.
There will be a facility fee from £x to £x depending on
the number attending the wedding. This fee is for the
use of the building for wedding purposes, additional use
of facilities by extra guests, additional cleaning, use
of licence (not registrars fee) etc.
Car parking is available within the grounds for up to 25
vehicles. Visitors should not park on the narrow public
roads as livestock and wide farm machinery use these
every day.
For more than 19 people sitting down and overnight
arrangements you will need a marquee.
Kennels are available 4 miles away with prior
arrangement. Details from the owner.
The Loch View Steading must be vacated by 10 am on the
day of departure and the client must arrange for the
site to be left as found, eg. All furniture put back if
it has been moved; cooker and ovens properly cleaned;
all crockery, glassware, cutlery, pots etc washed and
put away; floor areas cleaned and all empty bottles
taken away.
Loch View Steading encourages you to recycle your glass,
cardboard, cans and paper and has an area where you can
place it and the owner will take it to be recycled.
It is suggested that if the Loch View Steading is booked
for a week, the wedding take place midweek to allow
caterers, marquee firms, florists etc time to
bring/remove their equipment in time for the client to
thoroughly tidy up before their departure.
A suggestion for the wedding couple would be that they
take South House for themselves so they can gain some
privacy.
